Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 17, 1963.

The pine tree is the symbol of the Bregenzer Wald, in which the municipality is situated. The three stars symbolise the villages of Uga, Damüls and Schwende in the municipality. The colours are those of Vorarlberg.
