DEFENCE MEDICAL GENERAL-INSPECTION, SPAIN

Coat of arms (crest) of the Defence Medical General-Inspection, Spain
Official blazon
Spanish blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The Cross of Malta symbolises the Medical Service supervised by the General-Inspection. The Order of Malta founded in AD 1099 had both a medical and a military role so the Cross is an apt symbol for Military Medical Services.
