Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 1, 1983.
The fleur de lys is a symbol for St. Porcia, the patron saint of the village. The lower right corner shows some mining tools, a symbol for the medieval mining activities in the area. The wavy bend symbolises the Gail river.
