German In von Rot und Silber (Weiß) gespaltenem Schilde eine steigende silberne (weiße) Spitze, darin eine grüne Eule auf rotem Stabe sitzend; vorne ein goldenes (gelbes) durchgehendes Kreuz, im Obereck ein goldenes (gelbes) Buch; hinten ein gewölbter grüner Schildfuß, darauf ein grüner Baum.

Origin/meaning

The municipality never used arms, but on November 22, 2020 the village adopted the above arms as village arms.

The cross refers to the local church, first mentioned in the year 800. The book symbolises the school in the village, which has a very long history. The hill with the tree symbolise the Dielinger Klei hill. The owl is a symbol for nature preservation.
