Van zilver met een breedarmig kruis van sabel, het schild geplaatst voor een Heilige Servatius rechtstaand, naar voren gekeerd, met nimbus, gekleed met zijn bisschoppelijke gewaden, houdend in de rechterhand een sleutel en in de linkerhand een bisschopsstaf, de kromming naar buiten gekeerd, alles van goud.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 29, 1961.

The arms are those of the Teutonic Order, which acquired the estate and village of Diepenbeek in 1678. The village belonged to the Order until the end of the 18th century.

The supporter is St. Servatius, the local patron saint. He already appeared on the seal of the local council from 1434.
