В лазоревом поле, вверху - семь восьмиконечных золотых звезд, образующих созвездие Большой Медведицы, внизу - стоящий серебряный полярный медведь на возникающей вершине северного полюса земного шара в цвет поля с золотыми семью меридианами и одной параллелью, покрытой серебряной льдиной.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 6, 2003.

The arms indicate that the rayon is the most northerly populated area of Russia and show a polar bear on top of a globe under the constellation of Ursa Maior.
