Official blazon

Argent, a canton sable, over all a cross throughout gules, debruised in base by a foi fesswise, the hands proper, the arms are vested of the second tincture

Origin/meaning

The Red cross on silver with a black canton alluds to the Arms of the Lords of Lexington. The Clasped Hands alludes to the State Seal of Kentucky.
