DONCEEL

Province : Liège
Additions: 1977 Haneffe, Jeneffe, Limont

Armoiries de Donceel

Official blazon

D'azur à six fleur de lis d'or rangées 3, 2 et 1.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 30, 1999.

The arms are those of the Donmartin family, Lords of Haneffe, in the 13th and 14th century. As the Estate of Haneffe was, in medieval times, the largest in the area, the arms of the family were chosen to represnet the whole new municipality.
