(de) Geteilt von Silber und Blau; oben ein schwarzer Dornzweig, dem zwei schräg[rechts] und schräglinks gestellte blauen Ähren, deren Halme sich berührend aus der Teilungslinie wachsen, unterlegt sind; unten ein unterhalbs goldenes Zahnrad.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 25, 1972.
The arms show symbols for industry (cogwheel) and agriculture (wheat). The thorn branches refer to the origin of the name (Dorn=thorn) and are thus canting. The silver and blue colours refer to the Bavarian colours.
