DUBLIN GUILD OF TAILORS

Coat of arms (crest) of Dublin Guild of Tailors
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 4, 1655.

The arms are largely based on those from the Worshipful Company of Merchant Taylors with a different crest (platter with the head of St. John, the patron saint) and a different motto: Nudus et opervistis me (I was naked and you clothed me).
