  • (1818) Van zilver beladen met 5 blaauwe dwarsbalken waarover een klimmende rooden leeuw, het schild gedekt met een gouden kroon.
  • (1839) D'argent à cinq trangles d'azur au lion de gueules brochant sur le tout, l'écu timbré d'une couronne d'or.
  • (1979) D'argent à cinq trangles d'azur au lion de gueules brochant sur le tou;, l'écu timbré d'une couronne d'or à cinq fleurons.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 1818, January 17, 1839 and again on February 13, 1979.

The arms are those of Gérard de Luxembourg, Count of Durbuy in 1247. There identical to the arms of the province and country of Luxembourg, except for the crown.
