Official blazon
- (de) In Silber auf rotem Feld mit goldenen Furchen stehend ein blau gekleideter Bauer mit schwarzem Spitzhut, der aus einem silbernen Sätuch goldene Körner streut; rechts oben übereinander drei her fliegende schwarze Vögel.
Origin/meaning
The arms are based on the oldest seal of the town, dating from the late 18th century. The sowing farmer is a symbol for the free farmers and the field (Feld) is a canting element.
