State : Baden-Württemberg
Additions : 1973 Pforzheim and municipalities from several other districts

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on August 16, 1976.

The four diamonds symbolise the four historical territories : Schwarzwald, Heckengäu, Kraichgau and Stromberg. The wavy bar symbolises the Enz river.
