ENZWEIHINGEN

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Ludwigsburg (until 1973 Vaihingen)
Incorporated into: 1971 Vaihingen an der Enz

Wappen von Enzweihingen/Arms (crest) of Enzweihingen
Official blazon
German In gespaltenem Schild vorne in Rot ein aufrechtes goldenes Bockshorn, hinten in Gold eine aufrechte schwarze Hirschstange.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The oldest seal of Enzweihingen dates from the early 15th century. The seal already shows the present arms. The arms show on the right side a white horn, which was probably the old village sign. The left half shows the black antler of Württemberg.

Literature: Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes.
