Official blazon

In von Blau und Gold gespaltenem Schild aus einem viermal geteilten Wellenbalken wachsend eine Erle mit zwei Blättern und mehreren Kätzchen in verwechselten Farben.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 6, 1970.

The arms are canting; the tree is an alder (Erle), the wavy bars in the bottom symbolise the lake (See). The shield is divided to symbolise the merger of the two municipalities.
