====Official blazon====
The small shield shows the previous, unofficial, arms of the village, based on the seal from 1581 (see image below). The symbol is not very clear, it proabaly is a so-called village symbol, but its meaning is not known. It has been previously described as a Ringflasche (ring-bottle) and currently as a Halseisen (neck-iron). This is a piece of iron used to chain prisoners around the neck and to an object.
In Blau ein goldener, mit einem roten Halseisen belegter Kleinschild, darunter drei silberne Rauten.

====Origin/meaning====
It has also been stated that the symbol originally consisted of two rings, symbolising the local castle and the manor, both which were owned by the Lords of Eschollbrücken.
The arms were adopted in 1960.
