Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted to Eslöv city on December 22, 1911 and to Eslöv municipality on December 12, 1975.

The arms symbolise the industry and the agriculture in the municipality. For industry the winged wheel, as a symbol for railways, was chosen. Until 1975 the city could use a mural crown, but the new municipality lost the right.
