Origin/meaning

The arms were proposed in 1898 by the State Archives and adopted by the municipality in the same year.

The arms show the bordure of the Counts (later Princes) of Fürstenberg, to whom the area belonged for many centuries. The star is taken from the arms of Hans am Stad to whom the area belonged previously.

Siegel von Esslingen (Tuttlingen)

The arms on a municipal stamp (1892)
