ETELÄ-SAVO - SÖDRA SAVOLAX

Etelä-Savois a region in Finland created in 1997 as part of Itä-Suomi to which it belonged from 1997-2009. Since 2009 it is a separate region. Until 1997 part of Mikkeli province.

The arms were officially granted on September 1, 1997.

The arms are the historical arms of the Savo region.
