Origin/meaning

The upper part shows the heart of Jesus, eternal Word of the Father, from whose mercy they sprout, eat gifts of the Holy Spirit, the blue and red rays, which refer to the sacraments of Baptism and Penance, and the august sacrament of the Eucharist. The golden background confesses the deity of Jesus.

The lower left part shows a symbol of Santa Maria de Guadalupe: the flower of her tunic, which represents the new civilization based on Christ, in whom she attains the fullness of life, beauty and truth. The lower right half shows an angel that has a double meaning; On the one hand, it represents the archangel Gabriel, Patron of social communications, who offered the best and definitive news: the saving incarnation of the Son of Dies. On the other hand, it refers to the Church of Puebla, guarded by the angels of God.
The red background expresses that, as Santa Maria de Guadalupe and the holy archangel, we should be heralds of the redemption made through the blood of Christ.

The motto of the shield summarizes the center of the Christian life: trust in Jesus, the only Savior of the universe
