Origin/meaning

The coat of arms depicts on a golden field a red chalice with an octagon-shaped thickening in the stand and the cup charged with a golden roundel charged with a cross pattée. The chalice can be seen as a communion cup with a golden sacramental bread with a cross on its side, or a baptismal font.
