FOHNSDORF

State : Steiermark
District : Murtal (until 2015 Judenburg)

Wappen von Fohnsdorf

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 31, 1956.

The arms are canting, showing a Fahne (banner), or Fohne in Styrian dialect. The miner's tools show that Fohnsdorf was a mining town at the time when the arms were granted.
