GAGAUZIA (Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia)

Coat of arms of Gagauzia
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on June 28, 1996.

The arms show a yellow (golden) semicircle of the rising sun. The shield itself is surrounded by golden (yellow) wheat-ears wrapped in the image of the flag of Gagauzia. Under the shield there is a unconventional image of vine-leaves and grapes. Three five-pointed yellow (golden) stars are arranged in form of an equilateral triangle above the shield.
