Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in 1910, but the arms were already proposed to the village by the State Archives in 1901.
The arms are based on the 19th century seal of the village, which showed elements for agriculture and viticulture. These symbols have been simplified in the arms. The red and gold in the left half are the colours of Baden.
