Origin/meaning

The first quarter represents the territorial area in which the Residence provides service. The second quarter, the sinople, expresses the Unit's desire to serve. The cannon and the waves allude to its location, since it is located on the land of the old “Punta Negra” coastal battery, equipped with the described cannon. The Coat of Arms was approved on 17 November 2014.
