Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, având în câmp albastru o acvilă argintie încoronată, armată cu aur; se află în profil, spre dreapta, cu zborul deschis, stând pe o colină verde cu 3 piscuri, ținând în ghearele piciorului drept o sabie de argint, cu garda de aur. Acvila este înconjurată de 4 stele de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 28, 2007.

The eagle is found in the coat of arms of the Gidofalvy family of Ghidfalău.

The sword signifies that the inhabitants of the area participated in the revolution of 1848-1849.

The 4 stars symbolize the 4 component villages of the commune.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
