Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, despicat și retezat. În partea superioară, în câmpul din dreapta, pe fond albastru, se află un brâu undat, îngust, de argint, peste care broșează un pește în pal, de argint. În partea superioară, în câmpul din stânga, pe fond roșu, se află așezat un braț drept armură, înarmat cu o secure, de aur. În partea inferioară, în câmp de argint, se află în centru, pe o terasă neagră, trei spice de orez, verzi, flancate în partea de sus dreapta-stânga de câte o potcoavă de culoare neagră. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 19, 2006.
The fish and the wavy bar signify the occupation of the inhabitants of the area, the fishing, the locality being on the bank of the Danube river.
The armed arm refers to the birthplace of Mihai Viteazul, on the current territory of the commune being the vestiges of the old Floci Fair.
The rice ears and horseshoes symbolize the rice fields and studs in the area.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
