Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, scartelat. În primul cartier, în partea dreaptă, în câmp albastru, se află 3 stejari de argint dezrădăcinați, așezați doi la unu. În al doilea cartier, în partea stângă, în câmp roșu, se află o secure de luptă cu tăișul dublu, având la bază o semilună răsturnată, ambele de argint. În vârful scutului, în câmp roșu, se află un coif roman de argint. În vârful scutului, în câmp albastru, se află o timonă deasupra unui brâu undat, de argint.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 3, 2009.

The 3 oaks represent the old heraldic coat of arms of Vlașca County, symbolizing the oak forests that once made up Vlăsiei Forest.

The battle ax and the crescent are reminiscent of the anti-Ottoman struggle and the prestigious victory obtained by the great voivode Mihai Viteazul in the battle of Călugăreni.

The Roman helmet symbolizes the Latin descent of the inhabitants.

The rudder and the wavy bar symbolize navigation on the Danube river.
