Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on February 6, 2020.

The flower of Saxifraga giziana is an endemic protected species and the green area refers to the agricultural character of the area. The eagle owl (Bubo bubo) is present in the town and the trout symbolizes the Gizia river.
