Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în bară și în bandă, cu trei cartiere. În primul cartier, în câmp verde, se află trei spice de grâu de aur. În al doilea cartier, în câmp roșu, se află un copac smuls de aur, încărcat cu cinci mere roșii. În vârful scutului, în câmp albastru, se află un brâu undat de argint, având deasupra un leu de aur văzut din profil spre stânga, cu coadă dublă și ținând în laba stângă o coroană. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 3, 2015.
Wheat ears symbolize the basic occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture.
The tree refers to the name of Merișor village, and the number of apples indicates the number of component villages of the commune.
The lion is a symbol of the Teleki family coat of arms.
The wavy bar symbolizes the hydrography of the locality.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
