Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 8, 1994.

The golden wavy pale in the centre of the shield is canting (Goldbach means golden stream). The two sheep-shearing knives are derived from the arms of the Ebersberger family, to which the Lords of Goldbach belonged. The golden flower is an Adonis species, which is very rare, but which can be found in the municipality.
