In schräglinks geteiltem Schild vorne rot-silbern geschacht, hinten ein goldener Dreiberg in Grün. Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on June 27, 1963. The chequered field refers to the County Sponheim, to which the area historically belonged. The lower half is canting, a golden mountain (berg).
