Wappen von Gröben/Arms (crest) of Gröben
Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 2004.

The two linden leaves symbolise the villages of Gröben and Runthal. In both villages there are some prominent linden trees. The division line and the blue colour represent the Rippach river. The base shows miner's tools for the former importance of lignite mining and processing for the two villages. The wheatears represent the present agricultural character of the municipality.
