GRIVESNES
Département : Somme
Official blason
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in March 2018.
The chief shows five wheat ears, one for each of the villages and hamlets in the municipality. The red colour refers to the blood shed here in the First World War at the Battle of Grivesnes (March 31, 1918).
The lower part shows the local church and the local castle. The pigion is a symbol for peace.
