The Arms was Registred in 1989. The Golden Fess symbolises the Name, meaning Golden Bridge. The Salmon is the local variant Gullspång Salmon.<br>
The Crown symbolises the Battle of Hova in 1275, when King Valdemar lost his Crown to his Brother Magnus Ladulås.
