Guyana

National symbols

Administrative division

Guyana is divided into 10 regions. The different regions are:

  • Barima-Waini
  • Pomeroon-Supenaam
  • Essequibo Islands-West Demerara
  • Demerara-Mahaica
  • Mahaica-Berbice
  • East Berbice-Corentyne
  • Cuyuni-Mazaruni
  • Potaro-Siparuni
  • Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo
  • Upper Demerara-Berbice

The regions are divided into 27 neighborhood councils, which are further divided into communities.

None of these, as far as I know, use arms, neither do the individual cities.
