Punaisessa kilvessä kaksi hopeapalkkia, joissa kummassakin kaksi mustaa kaateista polviortta; palkkien välissä kolme hopeista palkeittaista api­ lanlehteä.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 1, 1952.

The two bends symbolise the use of dams to produce hydro-electric power in the local waterfalls (koski=waterfall). The trefoils symbolise the agricultural character of the municipality.
