Gules a bend wavy argent charged with a like bendlet azure, and over all a cypher of the letters AR entwined in ornamental script enigned by an ancient crown, all or / De gueules, à bandes d'argentmeublée d'une bandelette azur, et brochant sur le tout, le monogramme AR entrelacé, portant en pavillon une couronne ancienne, le tout d'or.

Origin/meaning

The AR monogram symbolises Queen Anne for which Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia and Annapolis, Maryland is named.
