Official blazon

Per fess wavy yellow and white; in chief in front of a representation of Mount Egmont (767 Metres) in form of a pile reversed blue capped indented white a lighthouse white rising from a base black the lantern yellow rays white in base two bars wavy blue.

Origin/meaning

A West Coast District of North Island, New Zealand Lighthouse is at Cape Egmont. The badge was approved in 1959.
