English Barry wavy of ten white and blue; a demi-griffin rampant erased gold armed and langued red.

Origin/meaning

In Greek Mythology the Warrior who tamed Pegasus. The Design is from the Crest of Lieutenant Cumby, Royal Navy who took command of Bellerophon at Trafalgar after its Captain had been killed. Name given to the Reserve Fleet at Portsmouth 1950-1971. The badge was approved on 3 March 1953.
