English White; issuant from a whirlpool in base a fig tree leaved and fructed proper suspended from the branches a reremouse inverted gold.

Origin/meaning

In Greek Mythology a Sea Monster transformed into a whirlpool, caused Odysseus to be shipwrecked. Washed ashore, Odysseus clung like a bat to a convenient tree until rescued. The badge was approved on 12 December 1941.
