English Black; a sinister arm in bend sinister proper the fist thrust into a cresset silver inflamed proper.

Motto: Slendide audax

Origin/meaning

A legendary Roman Hero Mucius Scaevola when captured by Tarquin, tried to prove Roman courage by enduring great pain. The Motto translates as Finely daring. The badge was approved in 1931 and in 2001 redrawn in a circular frame.
