English Royal Blue; the white rose of York barbed and seeded proper upon a plate surrounded by a collar of the Order of the Garter and ensigned with a Royal ducal crown proper.

Origin/meaning

Alludes to the Title, among others born by George VI before he became King. The badge was approved on 2 May 1940.
