English Blue; awandering Albatross in flight above four bars wavy blue and white on which floats an icefloe all proper.

Motto: By endurance we conquer.

Origin/meaning

The Wandering Albatross is know for its Endurance. The Motto is that of the Polar Explorer Sir Ernest Shackelton, fitting as HMS Endurance served as the RN Ice Patrol Ship between 1967-1991. The Badge was approved on 26 July 1968.
