Official blazon
English Blue; within a wreath of laurel a demi-dragon ersed gold armed and langued red charged on the shoulder with a torteau thereon a cross couped gold.

Motto: Fortier fideliter felicitier

Origin/meaning

A Battle against the Durch Fleet in 1653 won by Monck (a Dragon) and Deane ( a torteau). The Motto translates as "Bodly, faithfully, successfully". The badge was approved on 10 August 1945.
