English Blue; chief a sun in splendour gold in base a pair of wings white.

Motto: Bene est tentare

Origin/meaning

Son of Daedalus who drowned when the sun melted the wax which attaced feathers to his wings. The Motto translates as "It is as well to try". The badge was approved in 1936.
