English Blue; upon water in base barry wavy white and blue a swan rousant proper gorged with a collar chained gold the chain grasped by a hand issuant in chief also proper.

Origin/meaning

In Greek Mythology Leda was the Mother of Castor and Pollux, whom Zeus visited disguised as a Swan. The badge was approved on 13 May 1938.
