Official blazon
English Blue; a birch tree proper surmounted by a horseshoe reversed silver and enfiled by a mural crown gold charged with three anchors blue.

Origin/meaning

Combined the famous Surrey rececourse of Sandown Park (Silver Birch and Horseshoe) with the arms of the Isle of Wright County Council. The badge was approved 1986.
