HMS ST KITTS, ROYAL NAVY

Official blazon
English Blue; within a wreath of laurel gold a merman proper supporting with his hands a trident erect gold.

Origin/meaning

A battle against the French under de Grasse in 1782 won by Sir Samuel Hood in whose arms is a merman. The badge was approved on 31 July 1945
