English Gold; a cross flory black within a wreath of laurel green.

Motto:Fides et opera.

Origin/meaning

From the arms of Vice Admiral Lord Nelson, KB. Wreath for the Victorious Battle. The Motto translates as "Faith and works" is from Nelson's elder brother Rev. W.M. Nelson. It was added in 1982. The badge was approved on 30 June 1944.
